Charcoal stains

I was moving a few 40 lb. bags of lump mesquite charcoal this afternoon. Didn't realize that one was torn. I now have a large, black charcoal stain on a rather good pair of jeans...
Does anyone have a proven tried and true method for removing charcoal stains?
Thanks in advance...
BTW: I've used "Bone Sucking sauce" on just about anything I've grilled... but it didn't seem to work on the stain. Hahahaha

God have mercy Uncle Apple. That above is just wrong on every level. But I can't help but to look nonetheless.Location- Just "this side" of Biloxi, Ms.

A washing machine usually works for charcoal stains or the exit-port stains visible on @henapple's girl above. Charcoal is not water soluble. It needs mechanical removal. Brush and elbow grease if it doesn't come out in the wash. I sound like Martha Stewart.

Just leave the stain, it adds character. Thats what separates the men from the gas grill owners....

I agree....wear your lump stain proudly !!!Maybe we could start a dry lump stain vs wet lump stain debate ???

Stop buying "rather good" jeans. Mine are real, comfortable... and cheap. They are jeans. The bigger question though, is why in the world would Henapple have such a pic? I waste quite a bit of time poking around the web and I don't recall EVER seeing anything quite that disgusting. Well, except for the bacon one.
) I hate it when I go to the kitchen for food and all I find are ingredients!
