Green Egg Salt Block Salmon

I picked up some Salmon at H-Mart, got the Salt hot so water sizzled good and coated the block with EVOO and cooked the Salmon to an IT of 130 in the thickest part it took around 15 minutes. One was rubbed with Raging River the other with Pike Place Fish Markets "Our Rub" Both of the filets were very juicy and flavorful.

    Really excellent....I never cooked on salt block....does it add extra salt to the flavor?

    Not a lot, you can get salt if you dont get the block hot enough.

    I got mine at the cooks warehouse in Atlanta but I have seen them at some of the Gren Egg distributers her in the ATL. I almost forgot $35.00

    That looks great!!! I've been thinking about getting a salt block. How much did impact the taste of the fish??
