Pizza looks great. What kind of set up are you using?  Is that a lump basket of some sort?

    JoeA,

I use an AR with two BGE 14" Pizza stones. I set the stones directly on the AR support rods and the top of the Extender without using a grate. I set the bottom stone (diffuser) above the level of the fire ring but below the felt level. This is to avoid pushing too much heat back down into the fire box on high heat cooks, and to avoid directing heat directly onto my gasket. I set the top (pizza) stone as high in the dome as I can to pick up the reflected heat off the dome while protecting the bottom crust from direct heat and the possibility of burning. Using this set up my cooks run a bit longer, but seem to allow for a toast crust and well heated toppings with perfectly melted cheese. My lump is in a "Kick Ash Basket" which I highly recommend. I set it directly on top of the stock BGE grate. It makes cleanup and reuse of the lump really easy, and also provides for maximum air flow. I have found it works extremely well in both low and slow and high heat applications. I can easily recommend it.
