    Coming along slowly but surely. I hit a snag yesterday. I decided to go bigger so I had to remove a tree. I'm getting to old for this.

    I had to put 20 18" sonotubes with the elephant feet down 6' to support my concrete deck.

    Yeah we don't have that concern at all my friend. Our only concern down here is fire proofing due to our never ending summers and relentless heat :D

    Couldn't you build around the tree?  I always think that looks really cool when you have a tree inside your deck or patio.

    Can't wait to see the finished product.

    I couldn't brother trim. I have almost zero talent as a carpenter. I'm sure that there are skilled craftsmen that could easily do it. However I'm certainly not one of them. This whole project is learn as I go if you will. It may reach a point that I can't handle it. We shall see my friend.
