Looks like you didn't trim them? That's what make spares St Louis style. Like these. They look good though.

@ladenback, I agree, but they were trimmed by my wife....perhaps she's not as good....I may have to take it over!

Sorry, that makes sense then. I didn't do very well my first time. I now more now that I have been shown how. They still taste good I bet.
