Saturday night steak

Yum! Tried a reverse sear caveman to see if I could get a more consistent doneness throughout the steak. I didn't get the sear I wanted so I think I'll just go back to straight caveman. Plus it's easier. Usually when I go straight caveman, I get a few spots that are blue rare. Never thought I'd eat blue rare, but it's not bad.Tonight I did get a better medium rare throughout. All in all, pretty dang tasty. Potatoes were cooked on the stovetop in a CI skillet. Prior to putting the potatoes in the pan, I threw in a few pieces of cut up bacon and a 1/2 stick of butter (healthy stuff). Can't believe it got dark on me so fast. Forgot to hook up my egg light.imageimageimageimage
