Egghead Brain Fart

So one of my favorite hobbies outside of eggin', beer, and firearms is building websites. I prefer building social networking types sites. I am always looking for new ideas and one of the MANY random brain farts that went through my head was.. Hey, what about full fledged social networking site for eggheads with all the pretty bells and whistles. Seems to be a pretty popular thing.

Yeah, no, maybe...ugh... I'll be over here if you need me.

@CookBook_Chip - I mess around with web development for fun. It's not what I do for a living, but it occupies my freetime. My full-time job is a Service Delivery manager for Tier II techanical support and development teams for a word-wide payment solutions company that whose clients are Banks and Credit Unions. I also own a web-hosting company on the side.

Stuff like www.sharenet.us and www.showyourtatts.com are examples of what I do for fun.

What exactly are you needing?

I got real excited there for a minute and then I realized it said tatts.

I used to do a decent amount of web development. That was 100 years ago when it was more or less just html. I still have a couple of dozen clients, but it is mainly just maintenance. I don't pursue new work anymore.

It was fun for a long time, but not so much now.

I have most of my sites with HostGator and Host9.

@johnkitchens - LOL I have to try and keep it clean here. I do have some ummm.. 'other' types of sites I have built.

We have clients that come from HostGator. They are a good host if you are not needing to crank up some resources. The sites I build have an extreme need for resources. HostGator gives us crap about that
