It's probably too late to brine. Sometimes I like an easy marinade of Italian dressing. Once cooked you can either add a bbq sauce or just eat right off the grill. Good luck!!XL BGE, LG BGE, and a hunger to grill everything in sight!!!Joe- Strongsville, OH

Salado TX & 30A FL: Egg Family: 3 Large and a very well used Mini, added a Mini Max when they came out (I'm good for now). Just given another Mini to add to the herd. -
Breasts cook to the lowest temp to be "done" but when the parts are cooked separately, they don't always cook the fastest because they tend to be the biggest pieces....
If you are looking for a different sauce/glaze, try a 50/50 mixture of your favorite BBQ sauce with a raspberry vinaigrette salad dressing.

Sandy, a little late here, but maybe for next time. I spatch whole chickens at 400 raised direct. Same for parts. Coffee rub is great. So is this... http://eggheadforum.com/discussion/1166301/wow-chicken/p1 I rarely use sauces so not much help there. SBR Chipotle is pretty good.
I hate it when I go to the kitchen for food and all I find are ingredients!
