That one video is the only one I've seen someone be that dumb with their own phone. I have read multiple reviews debunking it(skinny jeans phenomenon) since only the strongest person in the test office could do it. If you notice in the video, he already has a crease at the weak point.

The new 6 is REALLY nice though. I've messed with it a few times. For me, the next big decider will be the camera quality. I hate the S3 but I'm mad jelly with Apple's camera. My wife's iPhone blows my S3 away with indoor shots.

I'm quite sure I'm rolling with the Nexus 6/X next month. I want pure Android with no bloatware.

I have an iphone 6 regular, and I love it.  Super thin and light (makes up for the weight of the old ones).  Everything has worked so far.  (and the ability to change group text titles is a great way to troll your friends).

I'm not particularly an Apple fanboi, but the 6 is working for me.

@cazzy that looks great. I'm not big on the phablet sizing but 4k makes my heart aflutter. Do you know the unsubsidized pricing? Verizon non-bloated? They typically get around that so rooting is necessary.

Well, Nexus phones are typically bought from the Google Play store for $350. However, the specs have never looked this great so I'm not sure what the price point will be. I'm hoping for $350 again so I can get the wifey the iPhone 6 with my upgrade.

I'm very excited for this phone! With this specs and zero bloat, this phone is going to be beastly. Motorola is very good at battery performance, so I'm hoping this one is dialed in too. The performance benchmarks are off the chain too.

@cazzy I'm trying to hang onto my unlimited data. My wife has it too so I'd prefer to spend 600 -700 on only one phone, rather than both. 350 sounds good. I've at least convinced her that it's worthwhile to hang onto unlimited data as long as possible so it is more economical to go unsubsidized.

For sure, we're hanging onto our unlimited data plan too. Does Verizon not let you to get a subzidied phone and keep your unlimited plan? Just read a bunch more and based on the specs, they're predicting it to go for $400. That still isn't bad though since that's retail and unlocked.

@cazzy nope. Any subsidized phone comes with a 2-year contract renewal(upgrade). Verizon eliminated unlimited data 2 years ago and went to a shared data plan with your voice/text plan. I'm grandfathered in and as long as I don't upgrade, I'm good. I would have to just activate a new phone on my line so it would have to be unsubsidized to by a non-contract new phone.

Damn that blows. At least with AT&T, they allow me use my upgrades and keep my data plans.

@Eggcelsior‌ I had the same thing and lost it on my upgrade. 2 gigs now, and quite frankly I have never gone past it. I hear you on open source, and I totally recommend the S5. The camera is awesome, imo.

People expect more from apple since their known for their hardware. In any case it doesn't look good for them since having a phone that size isn't revolutionary, and their claims to do well at reinventing what's already there. Will it hurt them? No. Will people still buy the phone? In droves. Are we going to hear personal life interviews of everyone who bent their phone? I expect it. Are they all going to be skinny jean wearers? I hope so. Will they replace each one? Probably faster than those still waiting for their 6 plus.

@yzzi I have thought about the share plan so I monitored my usage over a few months. My problem is I do a lot of streaming so I average 4-5 gigs/month. It would cost more over the contract to upgrade rather than buying full price. We are also considering dropping Comcast all together so I'd want to keep unlimited data since I'd use my phone as my Internet access.

That's a big NOPE. First popular engine was a liquid cooled inline 6. It just went in airplanes.
