Fantastic design and execution. May I ask what is the distance between the first and second levels where the BGE is resting? I am in the process of building my table and comparing various designs to BGE's suggested measurement of 15 inches. Many thanks.

I would say 15" sounds about right. If you are talking about the opening in the front of the table where the ash chute will be showing, then it is best to measure your egg's ash chamber first and include the height of the stand. That way it is sure to leave you plenty of room for cleanings.
