I am ready to probe something now!!!

Ordered a Thermapen and it was delivered today.  I messed around with it (non-cooking) for a while and I think this will be a great addition and better than what I had before.  It jumps to temp fast!  Wife wanted to do a crockpot dinner tomorrow so I temped the roast and it was fast to temp.  More so than the other one I had (RIP).  

Hopefully I will not leave this one out for the dog to grab.

I heard after I ordered the orange is faster. I liked the color so it stands out and I can spot it easily. Not entirely sure if the color makes a difference in timing or not though.

I chose red on my ThermoPop. It's not as fast. It takes 4 to 5 seconds to get a reading. :((

I chose green to match my egg. But with the silicon protectors on it you can't tell what color it is.

Thank you everyone!  I hope to not leave this item out by mistake.  I think my lesson was learned!  

@GATABITES I didn't get a back lit version.  Amazon appeared to only have these instead.  I had all but $3 worth of gift cards to use towards something on Amazon.  Hopefully I will not regret not getting the back lit version.

@stemc33 you're on to me... I infact wanted the back lit, but not available on Amazon.. Also, my deck is lit pretty well so I decided to just get this.
