Digital Dome Thermometer

Does anyone know if there's a digital replacement thermometer available for the Egg?  What I'm thinking about is something that goes in hole instead of the stock thermometer that comes with the Egg.

The reason I'm asking is that sometimes I'd like a fast answer about whether the dome is heating up or cooling.  That way I wouldn't walk away for 10 minutes, thinking it was stabilized, only to come back and find the Egg had been creeping up.  I figure a digital read-out would give a quicker answer.

I have a dome temp probe on my iGrill. I can monitor the dome temp from 150 feet away and will tolerate up to 700 degrees. I do use the standard probe that comes with the iGrill mini too, although they reportedly won't survive beyond 400 degrees (mine has, but I mostly just use that probe for indirect cooks, especially low-and-slow cooks). I just pull the clip off the standard thermometer and insert the iGrill probe. Works fine. Calibrating the BGE probe, they're the same.

Just stick your Thermapen/Thermopop, or whatever meat thermometer you have in the hole in place of your BGE thermometer. What's the big deal?
