I let the dome get to around 600° and make sure to stir the coals around to get the hottest and most level bedstemc33 said:Looks marvelous. By looking at your pics, I think I need to get a hotter bed of coals when I do steaks on the coals. The sear on your steaks looks so much better than mine.
