Paella at my sisters place on the Weber

Spent the long weekend with my sister and her family near Charlotte.  No egg there, but I was assigned the nightly entree cooking duties on her Weber kettle.  Friday night was a couple of pork loins cooked indirect then seared.  Saturday night we used up her Basil with an Arribiata sauce cooked in a CI skillet on the Weber, served over pasta.  Sunday was the big family day, she asked me to do Paella as she had seen some of my pics.  Filled the 18" pan with shrimp, chicken, clams and Chorizo for the protein.  8 adults and a bunch of little ones, we cleaned it up.   

I had a Weber for years, so I know how to cook on it, but I really missed the temp control on the egg.

Also scored a great IPA, Hop Drop 'n Roll from NoDa brewing in Charlotte.  Yum!  Brought home a bunch to share with my boys

    Nothing wrong with Weber products my friend. I have turned out some quality grub on the Webers through the years. The food looks excellent my friend. Solid all around.

    Location- Just "this side" of Biloxi, Ms.
