Sorta OT 2 - Sous Vide Sansaire
Huh! Couple more page turns in my new Sur la Table catalog, and I see a device that looks like a peppermill, that you place in a pot of pre-heated water; it both circulates and maintains the heat at a set temperature, making a sous vide system that I might be able to fit in my kitchen; it also stated that foods didn't need to be vacuum-sealed, a simple sealable freezer bag works fine.
I need to hide my computer if I have any more wine, tonight.

there are a few things i'd like to get for the egg... i think if i got a sous vide setup now my wife would kill me... serious eats had a side by side review of the sansaire, anova, and one other:Chicago, IL - Large and Small BGE - Weber Gasser and Kettle

I just ate a sous vide tri tip at a buddies house. 2 of the people here have the sansaire and really like it. They both also ordered the searzall off kickstarter and are supposed to get it this week.
