Got my First Yeti...

I still use both of mine every day. I have a cabinet full of neglected tervis cups now.
-
I picked up a 32 as a gift and found a local (old school, not chain) jeweler that was willing to engrave it for ~$25. Even though it makes it an expensive cup, the engraving charge was all setup, no per word or per letter charges and it turned out perfect - I was happy to find someone that was setup to do this on a curved surface after calling a bunch of trophy places.
Love you bro! -
I'm drinking a 30oz gin n tonic in mine right now. No need to keep it cool for long periods because it doesn't last that long, but on the upside there is no condensation ring.
SWMBO had the smaller version for her morning hot tea during her commute.
I like the pelican chests better.______________________________________________I love lamp.. -
I use mine daily for iced tea

My daughter bought me a Yeti Rambler for my birthday two weeks ago. Along with a stainless steel steel straw, that fits perfect through the slot.
The Yeti tumbler is way better than aTurvis tumbler.
In fact:
Yeti is to Turvis
Like
BGE is to Weber
The ice you see in the pic will easily last the night and long into tomorrow morning.

What sort of retailer would stock Pelican chests? I want to pick one up, but I really want to look at them to see what size I really want. The interior dimensions vs exterior make me want to look at them in person. The dealer locator on their website leaves something to be desired.They/Them

Have both imo it does not shine with hot drinks. Usable yes but not great.
Also interested in the straw.Seattle, WA -
@DMW if you're asking who stocks, academy sports around here along with a couple of mom and pops.

@theyolksonyou Yes, I was asking who stocks. No Academy around here, will check with similar retailers.Thanks!They/Them

oddly enough, the mom and pops are pawn shops. Small town, I guess. -
@DMW costco carries them. Maybe Cabelas. You can buy them from lots of interwebs places. Next time you're at a BBQ fest or fishing rodeo, look around for them. They make most of the cases for the military and I think the latches, handles and hinges are better than Yeti. My opinion.______________________________________________I love lamp..

+1 on the Pelican. Good friend has one, got it from Costco. Holds ice better than anything I've seen.
Love you bro! -
Dang, the Pelican 65 is 3/4" too narrow internal dimension. I really wanted to be able to fit a full size hotel pan in there...They/Them

That sucks! I read 1/3 steam table pans fit in there perfectly.
Nothing beats a real cambro.

These cups are as advertised-they work great. I spoke to the Yeti guy at Roswell Hardware on Saturday and he was sporting a Yeti coozie. Apparently that's their next big thing and it's supposed to be out in the spring.
-
I use the small one for coffee every day. I made a cup at work one day and forgot about it for an hour and when I remembered it was still hot. Sometimes I go to take a sip after 10-20 minutes and its too hot to drink still. The straws are available on amazon for anyone looking I just ordered a pack for $8.
-
I'm coming in late but my wife bought me one of those for fathers day I think. The 20 oz tumbler. It's amazing. I usually do coffee in it. I have to put two pieces of Ice in it when I pour my coffee in the morning or I'll never be able to drink it it keeps it so hot!! I've left it at work before and came back next day wth ice cubes still sitting in it too!
I wanted the smaller one just for space but I wouldn't complain if Santa brought me a bigger one.
Hope your doing good Hap!_______________________________________________XLBGE -
