Jalapeño cheddar meatballs

I wish I could say these were homemade but I picked them up at Walmart. I cooked them indirect @350 with a little pecan wood for smoke. Sauced at 140 and pulled at 160. Grilled peaches with Dizzy Pig Pineapple head rub for dessert. Peaches done at 350 direct until a little soft.

It looks excellent from where I'm sitting. Hey we don't always have time to make everything from scratch. Nothing wrong with buying prepared when pressed for time. We all have done it. Good eats is good eats so enjoy!

I have seen these many times at our local Walmart but have yet to try them myself. Now that I know that they are good I'm going to pick some up and give them a try. Thanks for sharing.

Nice quick meal... how did you like the peaches?

@Hapster I thought the peaches were ok but the kids absolutely loved them. I really like that pineapple head rub. It's good on a lot of stuff but I especially like it on sweet corn. Thanks for introducing me to it.

On a side note, it looks like I may have to place my bets on the Royals this year. :D

How were the meatballs?  They look great.  I would like to try those with moinkballs (wrapped in bacon) for an extra kick.

Which came first the chicken or the egg?  I egged the chicken and then I ate his leg.

@SGH yeah I have bought a lot of the pre-made meatballs at Walmart. I buy the fresh or pre-thawed ones. The Jalepeno cheddar are probably my least favorite. They had a good taste but the texture was off a little. Maybe just a tad tough. All the rest that I have bought have been really good. When they get close to the sell by date you can usually get them for around 2.50 for 12 meatballs. I check for them every time I go in there.

@SmokeyPitt‌ see comment above. I need to try some with bacon next time. I always seem to forget.

Let me know what you think off them. I like to keep some in the freezer for a quick meal. They go real good with fried potatoes and purple hull peas!

Glad you like the rub... No worries, the Tigers will overtake them down the stretch. I have faith :)
