A friend of mine made me discover this place right next to my office.

Their flagship donut is Maple Bacon. Everyone loves bacon right?

Next door, in a used car dealer parking lot, there is a taco shop. Wow!

@Canugghead‌ - I discovered the place two weeks ago. It is not in the byward market area. It is nearby little italy in a neighborhood called Hintonburg. The place looks like nothing. I would have never stopped there if it wad not for the fact that a friend told me about it.

I believe (although I have nothing but hearsay from living there to back it up) that Voodoo donuts in portland OR was the first to make one of these and it's fantastic:



Also the donut got so popular in the area that rogue brewing (a popular microbrewer in the area) decided to take it and turn it into a beer:



PS don't try the beer.
