I haven't egged since Tuesday and about to go my mind. The SWMBO has been on a lets get out da house mode so we ate out Fri and Sat. So today it is on!!
Been wanting to play with some cauliflower rice, today is the day.
Pulsed 1 head of cauliflower in the processor till it was lookin like rice. Diced up an onion,6 green onions,2 cloves of garlic and about 1/2" worth of fresh ginger.
Got the large all ready to wok
Looks like I forgot the pic of the rice in the wok. Added the cauliflower and some soy sauce and stir fried it for a couple of minutes
And the finished product. I have to say this turned out way better than I was expecting. The SWMBO was dead set against try to sub rice with cauliflower (not a big cauliflower eater) but she ate 2 bowls of it. End result stage 1 of Mattman's cook day was a success. Stay tuned for stage 2. @NPHuskerFL this would be right up Mama's alley.

Looks good! Today we enjoyed a late morning brunch instead. After Bloody Bulls it was a hearty repast of a bed of home made hash browns topped with fried eggs further topped with ground sausage with diced onions and green pepper. It's a skillet brunch we call a Wisconsin breakfast in fond memory of vacation meals in the beautiful state of WI.

Great idea there. I'm gonna give that a try. Thanks for the great pics.

bookmarked. Like the stuffed pepper idea as well. You are borderline genius. How did you like the flavor?Great I assume?

Looks awesome. Love the idea switching up the rice for cauliflower. Help me out though...It looks as though the wok is bigger than the opening of the grill. Do you get a lot of flavor from the Egg with the grill open and cooking with a wok? I'm all for spending money on Eggcessories but I just don't understand how a wok will help out. The time stick is another. Sacrilege or just not understanding the benefits???XL BGE, LG BGE, and a hunger to grill everything in sight!!!Joe- Strongsville, OH

That looks great. Sub out the carb for a veggie. Genius. How much egg and soy sauce? How hot were you running? I really need to find that box with the wok in it, break it out, reseason it and get going with some Chinese food again.

Its 16" wok in my large so I imagine it just the angle of the pic. I don't notice any Egg flavor in any of my wok cooks. I use the egg for heat and to keep the funk smell outside instead funkin up the house. Plus it's just fun.-----------------------------------------analyze adapt overcome2008 -Large BGE. 2013- Small BGE and 2015 - Mini. Henderson, Ky. -
@griffin - the egg was prolly around 500ish when I put the wok in and blazin when I finished. Here's a link to the recipe I used

I'm not a big fan of cauliflower either, but for some reason in rice or even "mashed cauliflower" I like it.Large and Small BGECentral, IL
