What do you do with your ashes?

Good advice. Lump ash will raise soil ph. If you live in the PNW, soil ph is usually on the low (acid) side from all the evergreens and ashes can go just about anywhere without causing any problems. If your soil has a high ph, careful which flower bed you put them in, unless you want a desert scene.

Still collecting in a small metal trash can. The mini- shop vac that I use on total clean outs gets dumped in there as well... Probably will mix into garden come next year.

My ashes.... SWMBO has been asked to dump me in a hole on the beach at low tide so I can be washed to sea when the tide rolls in.

I dump mine behind the fence in our yard during the summer and sometimes in the winter.  In the winter I've also used ash to spread on icy patches, especially in the back yard where I want to be careful about the dog getting rock salt in her paws, both for the pain and if she starts eating it.

I toss them over the deck in the vine covered section of my yard.

I know a guy that bought a mini and set it aside to use as an urn for his ashes when he dies.

After putting that thought in my head, the responses to this thread is pretty funny!!

I bag the ash from my egg and it go into the trash.  I don't plan to be cremated, so no ashes from me!
