Just checking to see what other areas of the country are seeing for pricing. I have been quoted 10 percent off msrp twice here in the columbus ohio area. That is 1079 for XL EGG, no nest, plate setter etc. i dont want the nest as i will build a table. Anyone have competitive info other than a fest? I want to support my local dealer who is very knowledgable and seems like he will take care of me, but i want to make sure he is not too far off.

I got 10% off on my small, 40 off on the nest, full price for the cover. The other eggcessories I bought came from CGS. The dealer is a neighbor so I would not and did not shop around. A good dealer and good service (if you need it) are important to me.XLBGE, Small BGE, Homebrew and GuitarsRochester, NY

I not exactly certain what I paid because I got a lot of other stuff with it - platesetter, nest, side shelves, pizza stone, etc, but I think I paid $1099 (just for the XL BGE) in 2012 in San Antonio if that helps.

Not a bad price, I paid $1089 for mine + 10% off as it was during their open house. Though I did add a few other things and ended up with a bit more to them out the door than that...I would speak with their staff before pulling the trigger and seeing how knowledgeable they are. One of the things that led me to pull the trigger with my dealer is the owner has eggs at home and gave me input on how/when he uses them, etc. Oh, and they are a manufacturer of their own series of cookers, so that meant a lot.PS - Ceramic out performs metal cookers in snow.They/Them

@jstroke --welcome. I'm over here in marysville. Got my XL from specialty gas house and Rob and gang are top notch. When I got mine last year they took 10 percent off when u bring in 10 cans of food for the local food bank. They fully assembled the egg and the table for me. Hit me up if u need anything.
