I'm taking Jake to the Nepal/Milan soccer game in Charlotte. He wants to leave Friday but the game's Saturday night. Anyone know of something to do between Nashville and Charlotte? Please exclude strip clubs.

If you are looking for minor league ball, Charlotte has a team as well.  Charlotte Knights, they play Durham Friday night in Charlotte.  Also, how about a dinner theater http://www.grimprov.com/the-murder-mystery-company-north-carolina-sms-banquet-hall for a murder mystery -- something like Dave & Busters (arcade game themed restaurant) -- also Lake Norman north of Charlotte, rent some jet skis (not sure of age) and there is always The Great Wolf Lodge that our kids love.  wtf with the font change

@henapple-Gotta love minor league baseball-still hungry to get to the Bigs!  And great prices-with free about as good as it gets.  Have a  fun trip-and when you get back please inform us all about the offsides rule:)

zip line tour in asheville "The Gorge" is a 4hr event and you can also raft/tube. Biltmore, lots in asheville

Just another thought, if you like NASCAR, you're not far from many of the teams and you can go visit the facilities.

There are some nice restaurants in Charlotte that use BGE's.  Noticed them from the BGE site.

The weather for Friday is 79-66....Saturday 79-66 with a chance of thundershowers.

Also plenty of good eating places..Have a safe trip and enjoy the Carolinas..

Cabo Taco is a awesome place to eat... It was on DDD a while back.  I want to go back soon myself.

Yes. They moved to a new stadium downtown this year.

Like @johnmitchell mentioned -  US Whitewater rafting center is just outside of Charlotte.  Very fun for kids (and adults).
