Hey All,
Where are some good online spice shops where I can buy such things as maple sugar, sodium nitrate, as well other spices / rubs.
Thanks,
H.P.

Also www.sausagemaker.comI used to use Penzey's but now that I have Amazon Prime (free shipping) I've found everything except pimento wood there (oh, and Dizzy Pig; hint-hint, Amazon!)___________

Last time I bought, over three years ago, spices are best bought from folks like Penzey's (great quality and good prices) while chemicals like sodium nitrate are available fro Amazon.@Botch - found that Amazon spices and herbs were hit and miss, some were great others were less than stellar. Your experience?Delta B.C. - Whiskey and steak, because no good story ever started with someone having a salad!

I've been okay with everything so far, although the "pink salt" I ordered from them never arrived (was never charged for it either, however).___________

Not very much band-width but another Penzey's endorsement. And I used them (mail order) before we lucked into a local store. I'm sure there are several choices (too many) so try a few then just go with your best. FWIW-Louisville; Rolling smoke in the neighbourhood. # 38 for the win. Life is too short for light/lite beer! Seems I'm livin in a transitional period.

I've had good luck here with getting curing ingredients.

I have used Columbia spice before with no issues. They email discount codes on a regular basis.
