Outside listening to nature. Along w/ the distinct sound of rapid fire M1A, motars & Apache Helicopters. Camp Blanding is in full effect.

Never heard of a Huddle House. Waffles look good. Not sure about the grits. Just curious @NPHuskerFL‌ , how can they be homemade grits when your getting them at a restaurant? Please don't tell me you cooked up some grits at home and took them to the restaurant :-?
Funny story about grits. I always laugh at myself when I think about grits and my first experience with them. Never even heard of grits until I went to basic training. As I was being rushed thru the chow line, I told the server that I'll take the cream of wheat. He looked at me and said "you mean grits", and then I repeated cream of wheat a little louder. It was at about that time the Drill Sergeant came to get the line moving and the sever plopped the grits on my tray.
And that's when it all started. I went and sat down and covered them in sugar and milk still thinking they were cream of wheat. Once again, here came the Drill Sergeant(Georgian)' screaming about sugar and milk on grits. Needless to say, every Private in the mess hall started laughing and that started another big problem in its self. Anyway, that's how I learned about grits.
I think I have PTSD from my first encounter with grits. I still douse them with sugar+milk and will take cream of wheat or oatmeal any day of the week. Yep, that's right Southerners, you can keep your grits.
If I ever make it to Florida @NPHuskerFL‌ , I'll have to try eating at a Huddle House. I'll just skip the grits. Are they only in Florida?

Seriously they are shooting some $hi+ up tonight at Camp Blanding. They're still hard at it. The last several explosions have shook the ground a lil bit. Yep, that's "The Sound of Freedom". :-D

& now I'm trying to audio record the several Barred Owls Talking tonight. They sure are hooting up a storm tonight.

@SGH‌ I can sorta see the 2 but, not the 3rd owl. And just when I get the audio record ready they stop talking. They sort of sound like howling monkeys. Very loud. They live right here so it's an almost nightly occurrence. I'll eventually capture it audibly. On video would be difficult w/out some sort of night or starlite lense etc.
