I tried to post this once before but it ended up as a comment on another discussion, I`m sorry but I am computer stupid. Just a simple truck driver here.

 I have done 87 cooks on my large Egg so far and 85 turned out great The first cook I did was babyback ribs 3/2/1/ method and I did not like the mushy texture,the only other bad cook was a whole packer brisket,I need more practice on that. All the other cooks were great,Spatchcock chicken,overnight pork butt,Pork ribs no foil, Pig candy, rib eye steaks, Ring bologna, Pizza and more.I would like to thank everyone on here for the great advice and help to make all the cooks great.I do not have a camera that I can post on the internet with yet but am going to get one soon.So that is why no posts yet.

I have camera that I can post to the net but am photographically challenged, dumb as a bag of hammers when it comes to taking pics. Again - Welcome.

@MeTed welcome. Egging isn't high tech so engaging the forum doesn't have to be either. For me it's time to slow down and get back to basics with food and fire. Truck drivers enabled me to make a decent living as both the wife and I are in transportation so I salute you.

Welcome aboard and enjoy the journey.  However you choose to engage with the forum is your call.  Food porn is a big deal around here but many enjoy the forum without lots of pics.  Just have fun with the BGE and the chance to contribute and learn.  FWIW-
