Grandson loves s'mores

Fun day on the BGE today. Started with a simple spatchcock rubbed with the @Mickey rub. Extra large baked potatoes, asparagus, and finished off with s'more cones. Not sure who to give credit for the s'mores idea, but I got the idea from the forum. Thanks to whoever was the originator. My grandson loved em. Here's some pics.

Looks great, but now I got that "s-apostrophe-m-o-r-e" song from the dairy queen commercial stuck in my head. Thanks!!! ( and I typed that as sarcastically as I knew how).

) @Biggreenpharmacist . Never seen the commercial before so I just watched it on YouTube. Kinda catchy.

Looks good, all of it!Little guy is too cute, bringing him up right, spoiling him rotten with treats off the egg.Delta B.C. - Whiskey and steak, because no good story ever started with someone having a salad!

Very catchy tune. Mini cones with chocolate chips and mini marsmallows work as well. Yours look fantastic.__________________________________________It's not a science, it's an art. And it's flawed.- Camp Hill, PA

Yeah its really catchy. Makes me wanna catch my hair on fire to burn it outa my brain. I watch a lot of old tv reruns on tv land and it comes on ALL the time. AAAAAAAGHHHH! On a lighter note, I'm gonna show those pics to my boys tomorrow. I bet we'll be having those soon.

@Biggreenpharmacist . The s'mores were kind of weird. I kept waiting for the tops to brown up and after waiting for what seemed forever, I touched the top of the marshmallow to find a hard crust. When I picked a little of the crust away, I was surprised with lots of goo. Even though there's lots of goo, it's still cleaner to eat than old fashion s'mores. Unless that is, your feeding a baby.Steven

Your grandson certainly enjoyed it.Just a hack that makes some $hitty BBQ....

I've got a blu-point torch for soldering. Looks just like that one. Its just fun to do something to involve the kiddos. My 3 year old already says my small egg is his. He got a thrill today just helping me scoop out all the gray "sand" out of it. "I yike sand daddy". His "L's" come out as "Y's". I love it.

@Tjcoley . I think I'll have to try the chocolate chips next time. That seems like a good way to get a better mix of marshmallows and chocolate. Thanks for the idea.Steven
