Starting off, having some peach pie and ice cream which we didn't have last night

Anyway...
On tap for today
Dutch Oven mussels
Wings
Marinated Sirloin Tips
Fresh made chorizo
Fresh made kielbasi
And possibly some Bubba burgers

I have the kitchen aid and ice cream bowl, I do the homemade for the kids mainly. No comparison to store bought....so.much better.

@hapster-menu sounds great but your photos are always of the most eggcellent quality.   Care to share any "tricks of the trade" with the mussels?  I doubt I can "head fake" one past SWMBO but worth a shot >-

Thanks! This is how I'm planning on doing them. Got 2lbs for $6 at Wegmans, organic Canadian mussels.

@hapster-thanks for the link.  I do believe I can handle the cook; I'm not sure how to get the bivalves past SWMBO.  But there could be worse challenges.  Enjoy your epic banquet!

Some update pics

The handmade chorizo and kelbasi was insanely good. The sirloin tips were good, but I think I'd rather just caveman a steak. Not quite ready for the mussels so I'm making more sausage. Some Wegmans mild Italian...

Add mussels and crusty bread and be happy.

I'm pretty sure my daughter and I will kill the mussels with little issue. The sausage will get eaten over the next few days...

The mussels were pretty good. My daughter wants me to try smoked oysters next LOL

I must have had half a pint of the juice with some nice crusty Italian bread. Elise loved them, Pop-Pop would be so proud...
