To start 3 days ago I tried to cook a loaf on the AR with the oval stone, and pizza stone.....the result was a burned failure and I am not 100 percent why.

Was it the temp? Never read above 500 degrees. The stone? The placement being too high near the dome.
So got my starter out again, added salt and flour and tried another loaf. This time with the plate setter and stone like I do pizza. Temp was 450 and it looks great right now.

I also successfully placedvin the plate setter and stone after removing the AR @ 400 degrees after completing the dinner cook for tonight. I wasn't sure if 400 would shock the PS or stone but it didn't cause a problem.

Love the sourdough starter I've had going for 5 months + now in the fridge.

Oh wow... That looks great. Been way too long since I made bread. I think I'll start some in the morning. The first and only starter I built I lost after way too long of not using it (had colored streaks).

That's a beautiful looking loaf of bread. I made a boule in the big clock yesterday and the whole house warmed up!

Taste was great , standard breakfast for wife and I is 1 egg over easy, slice of ham and a bit of cheddar on 1 slice of toast. Worked out great.

But now to see how it keeps, I immediately freeze my bagels and they toast up nice. Homemade bread maybe has 2 -3 day life on the shelf but wife didn't want me to freeze any.
