Friday Night Cook — Filets

A quick Friday night cook with the wife: two choice filets cooked to medium rare on 600 degree egg.

Typically don't marinate filets but wanted to change it up and used this: http://m.allrecipes.com/recipe/143809/best-steak-marinade-in-existence. Turned out really well.

The wife made blue cheese smashed red potatoes, sautéed green beans and a purple pepper.

Salado TX & 30A FL: Egg Family: 3 Large and a very well used Mini, added a Mini Max when they came out (I'm good for now). Just given a Mini to add to the herd.
