I know there are 4 or 5 of you on the forum.   I'm doing probably my last crawfish boil plus a couple butts on Saturday.  I'd love to meet you.  PM me if you're interested and I'll send you my cell number.  I'll have plenty of food - it'll be around 2PM and I'll have the 3PM world cup game on.

@SGH - if you're in town you're welcome too my friend.

Do you deliver to New England?

Hey, it starts with "New..."  :D

I hate it when I go to the kitchen for food and all I find are ingredients!

I may still be home this weekend. I would love to meet you and some of the other forum members. I'm a decent crawfish cook myself. Might could lend a hand if it's needed.

Location- Just "this side" of Biloxi, Ms.

    Status- Standing by.

@SGH - I'd love it if you came. :D You could help out with the crawfish, maybe we could use your nuclear recipe for he second batch.   Anyway, PM me if you're serious and I'll send you my cell number.

Will there be a shuttle from the airport?
    ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Well, "spa-Peggy" is kind of like spaghetti. I'm not sure what Peggy does different, if anything. But it's the one dish she's kind of made her own.

There is an airport shuttle.  Take it to the casino, then hop on the ferry.  I'm a few blocks away. ;)

I've got to check in to flights. NOLA is seriously one of the best eatin' cities I have EVER been to! I usually give myself a three day limit for visits, though....for fear of self-destructing. Your last boil? Ever? Or is there a season or...? (Silly Northerners, I know...)

I may be playing in a tennis tournament that afternoon, but I will stop by if I can.

@PNWFoodie - yes, there is a season, and the drop dead date (we are already at the end) is usually July 4th.

Last boil this season.   The season starts in the spring and ends around early to mid summer.   Well, if you need an excuse to come to NOLA, you got one!

Thought it's usually May or June for the boil end date. I guess I have it wrong this whole time.

We'll probably be partyin' until we run out of booze and beer, and I have a lot of booze and beer.

The crawfish season started late because we had a late cold snap.  So it's ending late.  There aren't a lot of crawfish being harvested right now, but most people think the season is over, so demand is down.

I have two sacks reserved at a seafood distributor.

We throw a lot of these, we're good at it.  If anything gets out of hand there will be three or four good lawyers there and a cleaner - the Wolf.  No worries, mate.

And what do you mean "probably your LAST crawfish boil"? I'm feeling safe to assume you just mean for the season? Sounds good!

OK, if any of you NOLA folks like Tequila... I just scored a great deal on Olmeca Altos Tequila.  This stuff.

At International Market, there's a bunch of cases of it marked at $5.99/bottle.  I bought over a case of the reposado and a bottle of the alto.  750mL bottles, 80 proof, 100% agave.  Also, everything on the front row here was $5.99.   Throwing a party, why not stock up?

The only way to forfeit in this tournament is if you don't drink enough beer.
