    The recipe calls for half the butter most cookies have but it's only because it calls for bacon fat instead . :D

    Wicked, practising for Niagara already :)  

    I googled with the "-peanut" option and found few close-enough clone recipes sans peanut, thanks for the inspiration!

    Well, "spa-Peggy" is kind of like spaghetti. I'm not sure what Peggy does different, if anything. But it's the one dish she's kind of made her own.

    Gary , can you not eat peanuts ? I can get Karen to modify the recipe to find an alternative .

    Cookies are (were) fantastic! The slight after burn of the ancho chili is a nice offset to the sweetness.

    Yeah they are pretty good, Not a fan of sweet cookies so these are great !

    So Karen says " you could just omit the peanut butter  and just add more butter and bacon fat, but you would have to experiment with the amounts, but you probably wont screw it up .

    let me know how it works ? 
    Or I will have some for Niagara and I will make sure not to have peanuts in them
