Bacon wrapped onion rings

I stole this recipe from my friend, Joe, at MMMGOBLUBBQ.

These are off the chain! I brushed the onions with Siracha hot sauce before wrapping them in bacon. I dusted Meat Church BBQ's Honey Hog Hot rub over the bacon and smoked them at 300 for about 90 minutes. 

My only complaint is that I didn't have more!! You have got to try these!!

Awesome!  Saw these on Meat Church's Facebook, then I saw you were making them on the Big Green Eggers Facebook group... You acted fast!  I will be trying these soon! 

I may use the Texas Pete "Cha" Siracha instead.  I like it a bit better.

Yeah, Matt and I talked about it. I didn't sauce mine. He said that his were stellar. Seriously, These were out of bound!!

A friend made these for my BBQ this past weekend.  Gave the brisket a run for the money.  He made a dipping sauce as well, which was stellar.  15 very quiet people all eating bacon wrapper onion rings can't be wrong!
