Just started my first pork butt cook on the egg, 8lb with Bad Byron and a 9lb with DP Fajita-is. I doing Turbo, although a little lower upfront to get the smoke (Apple and Cherry) on. I report back with the finished product. On my third week with the Egg, I love it! image

    Pulled pork turned out awesome, went with a modified Turbo, total of 10 hours, first 7 hours @ 250 and then cracked it up to 350. both butts turned out great but the Fajita-ish was a definite favorite.

    @Dutch_egg‌
    Well done brother. Looks outstanding to say the least. A lot of people may disagree with this but I find that I can ramp the temp up and down at will when cooking pork butt and it will not affect the end product enough to concern ones self with. This is handy when timing is a issue. Again good job my friend.

    @SGH‌ I'm starting to find that out, it had effect on the end product, and man what a difference with doing this in my electric smoker or doing it turbo on my weber kettle.
