Folding cook table

Due to the weather here in NW Oregon, I am not really interested in making a built-in table for the egg. I'm more interested in getting a folding table that I can use as a work surface. When the weather is sour or during the winter, I'd store the table in the garage, only bringing it out when the egg was in use.
Does anyone have a recommendation for such a table. I saw that Home Depot has one that supposedly has white granite as the top, but I would prefer a 4' table to a 6'. A stainless table would be nice, but I am also thinking about just getting a regular folding table and making a metal cover. This would be convenient, but I may damage the table top when I put hot items on the stainless.
Does anyone just use heat resistant risers (like trivets or similar) over a regular table? Would that work? How high would the trivets / spacers need to be?
It if wasn't for the constant moss growth in the back yard, I'd make a built in, but for now, I think that this is the way to go.
Thanks!

Stainless will resist the mold and is easily cleaned up (I'm in FL and we have lots of Spanish Moss and mold due to our humid climate...so SS was perfect for us). They sell 4'-6' basic SS tables at many locations. And they ARE fairly heat resistant. I have placed hot CI pan and PS on my table with no issues. This table could have easily been used as just a prep table considering that was originally what it was (I just chose to modify it to an egg table and as you can see there is still plenty of room for prep). FYI, if this is the table at home depot it is plastic. I think white granite is the color.Maybe something like this? You could use the "wire" site to set hot items, grids, etc....or thisWhich came first the chicken or the egg? I egged the chicken and then I ate his leg.

I went the SS route also http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00AM05ROC/ref=oh_details_o01_s00_i00?ie=UTF8&psc=1However, this table is not the greatest quality. I expect I will have to replace it within a year. I won't go the cheap route again, or buy a table made in China.Kemah, TX

I have one like the one from Home Depot, but I want to build a permanent island on my patio. We use it for neighborhood parties when not used as my side table.XL, WSM, Coleman Road Trip Gas GrillKansas City, Mo.
