Tri-tip

Well. Rubbed it with everglades seasoning. Indiect at 300 til IT of 130. Pulled it, rested for (longer than I intended, got busy playing baseball in yard with my 6yr old-45 minutes). Cranked up egg, seared both sides.it freakin' rocked!!!

This was my first ever tri tip. I'll call it a success. Thanks for the folks' input on my other thread about how to do it.

If you don't mind me asking where you at in Arkansas? I ask because back in the 80's I use to work in Pine Bluff at the paper mill. Just wondering if you are familiar with the area and if the mill is still there and in operation.

  • Mill still smells like hell like always. Im close to little rock. My dad lives south of pine bluff so i go thru there often. Timber and pulpwood is dying. Nothing left. Those superpines cant keep up with those bellcutters making those clearcuts. South arkansas is dying/dead.
