Johnny Trigg Championship Turn In [pictures]

Going through some old pictures I came across some from the 2002 Jack Daniels BBQ....here is a good friend of mine, Johnny Trigg, a two time champion of the "Jack" with pictures of his meats for his turn in to the judges...these are pictures that most people never see....I do have his permission to post these pictures...Johnny's wife Trish, arranges the boxes for turn in.

Yes, just Johnny and his wife Trish.....I met Johnny 20 plus years ago in Ft Worth Texas at one of his first contests.  He took first place brisket that day and has been on a roll ever since.  I was traveling through all the BBQ joints all over Texas on my quest to learn to cook the perfect brisket. Very interesting trip

Thanks for sharing John!  Love those pics, especially the one of his setup.  What a friggin' awesome smoker.  Trigg lives not too far from me as the crow flies.
