My new table

After two years and enjoying all of the great tables made, I finally made a table for my egg. I made it out of cedar and used tongue oil in the following mixture. 3 parts mineral spirits, 2 parts tongue oil and 1 part polyurethane. I used a Kreg Jig for most of the construction. Once that dried I put on 3 coats of spar urethane. Today I will be placing my stone under the feet for an additional heat shield. I still need to add a bottle opener and hook up the electricity and a couple of other items. This will be much better than it sitting on my deck. did this with my father so it was a good time. Happy egging to all.

Nice looking table, but unless you licked the entire table, I think you meant Tung oil. )MMBGE / Large BGE / XL BGE (Craigslist Find) / SF30x80 cabinet trailer - "Ol' Mortimer" / Outdoor kitchen in progress.

Breath taking my friend. You and your dad knocked that one out of the park. That table is something you should be proud off. Great job to say the least.Location- Just "this side" of Biloxi, Ms.

That's awesome! Love your table and with your dad? Absolutely priceless. My dad passed away last year and we hadn't talked in 7 years. My mission in life is to spend every possible moment and give everything that I have to my son. He's 9 and after helping me build my table, he asked for his own BBQ and if I would teach him how to use it. How could I not?!?! I found him a green 18" weber. The color matches the green egg exactly. We're having so much fun together.Enjoy it all.Petaluma, CA
