    Paid $500.00 at Christmas time for a small and nest, no shelves . Bought hi-que grate. Mine heats up ok, but I do leave the screen open. I'm on cement so don't worry about sparks

    I have a small and it was having a hard time getting up to high-temp until i replaced the grate with Hi-Q grate. Although it is still slower getting the temp up compared to mini (mini is just hot and fast) but IMO, it's still reasonable time.
