We brought home a demo egg on Saturday. Today was the first time I got to try it out! IT IS AMAZING!! I'm waiting for some stuff to ship from the Ceramic Grill Store, so right now I don't have a platesetter. I grilled chicken legs - I used a brick wrapped in tin foil with a cheap old grill rack on top of the brick to elevate the legs. It was the best BBQ'd chicken I think I have ever had! Tonight is grilled salmon, baked potatoes, and corn on the cob! I'm totally hooked!

Welcome to the family!
it is true that you'll spend more dough on groceries and charcoal, you will actually end up with a net savings from not going to restaurants.

Yep, totally agree! I've had my egg for a little over a month (yeah, I know..need to post more pics of food!) and we've decreased our "out to eat" budget and increased our "grocery" budge. Food on the egg is way mo' better than any restaurant.

Thanks Everybody! Here's some pics!! My BBQ chicken, salmon, corn on the cob, portabella mushrooms, and baked potatoes. My son heads off to college this Fall and, after tasting dinner tonight, he wants to take a Big Green Egg with him when he leaves for college!!! Just joking, but still....even the baked potatoes taste better! It's amazing!!
