I liked Shannie when he played here.  I lost respect for him when he left because he was primed to be our captain after Stevie Y retired, but turned down a matching contract and left anyway.

Since this is a smack talk thread and we all watched the Olympics, everyone knows you need a team of good old Canadian boys in order to come out on top.  Afterall hockey is our game, we own it, the Cup and the Hall of Fame. As the players on the Stanley Cup winning team get to take posession of it for a bit during the off season and most boys bring the Cup back to their home towns, I always cheer for the team with the most Canadians.  That way the Cup is back where it belongs more often than not.  So this year I'll be cheering for the Avalanche with 20 Canadian boys on board.  I think this theroy has worked once, when Anaheim won the Cup so don't hold me to it.

Been a Habs fan since I was watching with my Dad when I was a youngin'.

Of course pulling for the Habs, and or if they are out then pulling for ANY Canadian team, even the Leafs if I had to, but that usually doesn't have to come into play.

If the Habs get knocked out Ill pull for the Hawks as JT is a good ol local boy. Although Im not a fan of Kane.

I've been a Habs fan since Roy. It's Habs and Avalanche for me this year.
