3 Tier

I just opened my 3 tier rack. Are there supposed to be pins or something to hold the racks in place? Nothing came with mine to suit that purpose...just the 3 levels and the pole that goes in the middle. Thanks!!

@BigPete-welcome aboard and enjoy the journey. Now for the business at hand-you have been short-changed pieces as mentioned by @GrannyX4. You really should take the whole package back and retrieve your money. There are much better options out here for the cooking eggspepience you are looking for. DIY is a great option til you really sort out your cooking plans with the BGE. FWIW-Louisville; Rolling smoke in the neighbourhood. Life is too short for light/lite beer! +1 with what @lousubcap said. Check out the Ceramic Grill Store and Ceramic Grill Works. I used a homemade raised grid for a year or so before I bought the woo3.-----------------------------------------analyze adapt overcome2008 -Large BGE. 2013- Small BGE and 2015 - Mini. Henderson, Ky.

I wasn't going to be the first "debbie downer" but since Cap already peed in your cheerios I will say that I totally agree with all above. Abort mission on the 3-tier and get some thing that actually works.Swing rack, Adjustable Rig, homemade setup of some sort- all are better that the 3-tier.Keepin' It Weird in The ATX FBTX

As GrannyX4 said, yes you are missing the pins that hold the levels in place. I have this rack and use it for wings etc, wrks great (I even lost a pin and use a nail to hold it it). Ceramic Grill Store is ok if you are in the US, need a second mortgage to ship to Canada :(Welcome to the BGE family!Dave

Welcome big Pete
I looked at that one you got my but decided to make my own...I'm going to get a smaller egg soon and will get an AR for that one...
If you are looking for ideas here is a homemade 3 tier I made recently..so far so good...Great for wings... Walmart has a cheaper large grid now...and it dosent have hinges so i would have preferred that.
