egg hinge messed up

The screw that the spring connects to is bent and the dome is offset toward the back. I guess I just need a new screw?

I had a similar problem, went back to where I bought my egg and just received a new hinge and band. Great customer service!

The front to back adjustment is usually simple, loosen the top band, reposition the dome and tighten it up. SWMBO has helped with holding the dome in place and steadying it so I didn't drop it. 

The bent spring bolt is not an issue, IMHO, The pivot points are not affected. 

@rwbbobo - very helpful video if you need side adjustments that just repositioning the bands will not solve.
