After helping a relative move this evening and feeling a little under the weather I must have fallen asleep a few hours ago. Next thing I hear is my name being said in a frantic way and being told to get up. My wife saying, ”I just heard the storm door creak open. I think someone tried coming in.” So I go down and check to see if the storm door is unlatched. It was. Flipped on the front lights to the house. Ten or so minutes later I hear something fall or bust in the garage. I have a case of beer in the bed of my truck so I assumed one of them might have busted with the cold weather. So I figure I better go check on the noise. So I get myself prepared. Fight mode. Ready to take down a 6'5” 280lb pure muscle freak with a pirate eye patch. Which makes total sense since I'm 6' 220lb and completely out of shape. In all honestly I would have probably wet myself if I went out and seen a little person stealing my power tools in the garage. So I flip on my garage light and go searching around. Nothing. Check the beer in the bed of my truck and everything is in tack. So I better grab a beer and check the coldness. Conclusion - Ice cold and delicious. Will do some extra research here in a moment. But if I leave tomorrow morning and find a passed out little person underneath my truck drinking my beer I'm going to be pissed!

Routine nights don't merit a post but since tomorrow is Thanksgiving (USA-11/27) then I feel like it's time to acknowledge the most non-confrontational (from my perspective) Holiday on the USA calendar.  So with that I am enjoying a splash ( I am milking this bottle:) of Van Winkle's 20 year-old preceded and followed by Woodford's Double Oaked.  Don't have to be on my game til  around 10 AM (EST) Thurs so no worries!  Happy Thanksgiving to all.
