@YEMTrey, I love Bitches Brew. Good choice.
-
Needs a name. Stumbling Apple? Eve's Revenge? Dirty Falling Wife? Made it for wifey first, then for me. 2 parts ginger ale, 2 parts Apple cider, 1 part bourbon. Crushed ice and apple garnish. Tastes like fall in a glass. It's a 302 thing . . .
-
I'm not drinking it now.. but.. see you in a year friend. I only picked up one lol.

Do you have any idea how hard it is to get all those Bourbon County beers??? Those are our favorite and can never find them for a reasonable price. Congrats, sir!YEMTrey said:Had a couple of friends over on Saturday. Pullledpork sammiches, moink balls and smoked goetta. And this beer lineup: -
Oh, I know. It's getting harder and harder to get any of them anymore. Back in 2008 they would sit on the shelves almost year round. Now with a little hype and word getting out, you have to get on a list to receive your "share". It's one of my favorites so I don't mind paying what I have to to get it. I've bought too much bad beer to not pay for the stuff I know tastes good.Z_Eggineer said:

A bit different for me tonight, but it went really well with the tuna.

Punkin ale

right now, it's strawberry soda and vodka.
I'll mix almost anything with vodka.
Feel like dieting, it's crystal light and vodka.
Feel like I have a cold and need some Vitamin C, the good ole screwdriver, OJ & V.
Can't find anything to mix with vodka, a squirt from a bottle of lime or lemon juice, some sugar or splenda, vodka & H2O.
Iced tea and V
Got kahlua, a nice white russian is quite tasty.
Serve some canned peaches to the son for dessert, save the juice, add V & ice.
Really desperate for a mixer, grab a couple of otter pops from the freezer, squeeze into a glass, add V.

Homebrew, the best way to rule.

Adelbert's triple b. Bad boy brew, tripel.
Served in my boxing cat glass from Shanghai. Favorite place there when needing a good burger and micro.

@YEMTrey, Do you get this stuff via trades or are you just blessed in the Queen City with good distribution?
-
@Eggcelsior, neither. I splurge and treat myself every now and again and buy them from the bay area. There's a wine store there that stocks all this and will ship. If you can get past the shipping, it's a great way to get a taste of Cali every now and again.
It's been awhile since I ordered, but I'm busting my arse at work with a ton of OT and decided to treat myself. Ordered:
Pliny Elder x3
Grapefruit Sculpin x2
Bourbon Angels Share x3
Hop 15 x2
Almanac Heirloom x2
Might be placing another order soon. It's been so long since I've ordered and I enjoy these beers so much.
Cheers!

Thanks @YEMTrey. For some reason a lot of the North West Coast places don't have distribution in Maryland. Russian River, Three Floyds, etc. Southern California ones are no problem. I'll have to ask my beer store if they can order anything.
-
@Eggcelsior, if you ever find yourself in Cincy, drop me a line. The beer cellar and Egg are at your command. We'll make a good time of it. Cheers!
