Parish makes some good beers.  Wasn’t familiar w/ them and attended their beer dinner @ Thistle Draftshop in Spring (TX) a few months ago.  All did a good job of pairing the food and beer.

It was good but I’m so used to hazy beers it kinda caught me off guard. So weird to drink a regular IPA now. The key lime pie was good but if you see Westbrook’s Maximum Florida it’s my favorite sour ever.

I love me some bourbon, but for some reason I just can't get into old fashions.  I do love me a good Kentucky Mule though.

I like the orange bitters and some vanilla/ clove simple syrup. I am partial to using wheated  bourbon in mine. Lots of folks in our crowd are big fans of the old fashion. I actually prefer the Manhattan. The mule is on my list. Sounds delicious.

Even though I am working from home, I am still required to maintain fit for duty, meaning I am still subject to random UA and breathalyzer tests. If my supervisor calls and tells me I’ve been selected I have 2 hours to report. 

No day drinking for me.
