Arby's YES!!!, and when my wife is away or I have been driving all day I want Long John Silvers, not the fish but the chicken. I then soak them in malt vinegar and gobble them up. Afterwards I cry myself to sleep with shame.

Been racking my brain try to figure out my favorite, then I started making a short list consisting of any that I didn't hate.  That list turned up one:   Taco Cabana.  If they were local to me I might have burnt out on them by now, but there isn't one for 300 miles from New Orleans.  SWMBO loves TC.

At one point in my life I pulled into my usual drive-thru at Hardees.  I noticed a sign advertising a "4 Roast beef sandwiches for $5" special.  I ordered the 4 sandwiches some curly fries and a drink.  The voice on the other end said "Are you sure? That's not what you usually order."

That's when I knew I was eating too much fast food.

    True story.

"The finest ingredients are brought together with love and care, then slow cooked to perfection. Yes, the old ways are still best at Los Pollos Hermanos. But don't take my word for it. One taste, and you'll know."

    Sounds addictive!

I enjoy Chick fil A once in a while, and my grand daughter loves it.  Very kid friendly, from the disposable placemats, the staff coming around to the tables offering to take your trash or get you a refill, menu offering grilled instead of fried chicken.  Great kids playground.  Always clean and friendly.

For burger fast food, prefer the regional places - Cheeburger - Cheeburger, or Jakes Wayback Burger.  Fresh ground and made fresh.

(Spoiler alert - also posted on the other fast food avaidance thread)

If ever on death row, pick the McRib and Shamrock shake. It will be a long time before both are available at the same time - from 'Raising Hope'

I would characterize any place that has a drive through as fast food.  Given that, I like Whataburger and Sonic.  Wasn't crazy about In-n-Out at first, but it has grown on me after having a few burgers from there.  Haven't tried Five Guys yet and do like Chipotle as others have mentioned, just don't think of that as fast food.

Five Guys is awesome!  Pricey but well worth it.

Don't you have Taco Bell out there or are the US ones better? I pigged out on them in LA back in the seventies but when they opened up here I was in once or twice and that was the end of it for me.

LS, I and my family were HUGE Taco Bell fans when they hit South Dakota in the late '70s.  Back then, the meat was fried in coconut oil, totally unhealthy but delicious, and the cheese was wadded up on them about 1/4" thick; today the cheese is a few strands for decoration but nothing else.
And I miss the "Enchirito".  DAMN I miss the Enchirito...
    :((

Right now my favorite Fastfood joint is Arby's, but its been months since I've been there.

I tried an In-n-Out a couple times in CA, it was okay but... meh.
They opened a joint here in Utard a year or so ago about halfway between here and Salt Lake City, and for MONTHS the cops had to direct traffic around the place, even at 4:00 in the afternoon.  People went Nutz!!
I still don't get it.  They're okay but don't match what I can do on my grill.
