Put the beer in a cooler outside, bring it in every few hours for bit to keep it from freezing.

Good idea - you need to move to higher/denser alcohol content than beer has to save room...booze is more space efficient. With your fridge, you may even need medical grade 100% ethanol. You're welcome.

LS, if need be, I can get an IV started and the ETOH drip started quick. You'd be amazed how fast it takes care of DTs.
