I put this in OT because it was all cooked inside because of the ice storm moving thru. Didn't want to fight it. Anyway I have several less than stellar turkey meatloafs that were just simply dry & boring but I was determined to make a good & moist one. This one fit the ticket. The mushroom gave it a whole new level of taste and moisture. I may try on the egg but is was so good I am undecided whether to mess with it or not. Started out with fresh ground turkey and I added 3 chicken thighs for the fat image Sautéing the onions, garlic and mushrooms image Out of the oven after 45mins at 400 image And sliced up with some homemade mashed potatoes with chives made by my wife. image Here is the recipe for anybody interested http://www.inspiredtaste.net/21535/unbelievably-moist-turkey-meatloaf-recipe/

Looks outstanding brother. Doesnt matter how you cook it as long as it turns out.

Thank you. I will try it on the egg but it will be hard to improve on.

Beautiful! You never know until you try it...a little smoke might be the frosting on the cake.

Matt - looks good - two things about meatloaf on the egg. 1) be careful with amount of wood chips/chunks, meatloaf absorbs a lot of smoke. 2) use bbq sauce instead of ketchup, works great
