Last week I made Pork Chops, but even though they looked great, they tasted like cardboard. They where cooked alright, but BLAND!
A couple of you, @Jeremiah and @Skiddymarker made some suggestions that I tried last night with pretty awesome results.

I used a rub instead of trying to marinade, and I reverse seared the suckers. The RS was a first time technique, but I think it is freaking great. The chops came out tasting great, even though the marks where not exactly perfect.
I am excited to try the RS with a Bone In Ribeye...
And here is the plate....

Looks great from here! What kind of rub did you use?Which came first the chicken or the egg? I egged the chicken and then I ate his leg.

But I was so close to having both, awesome taste and awesome marks!!!And don't fool yourself, we all eat with our eyes first...well unless you are vision impaired, in which case, sorry, I was not trying to offend.

Grilled bok choy. Marinated in Olive Oil, Soy Sauce, Red Chili Paste. Grilled on each side for 3 minutes after the sear.Pretty good for green stuff.D

@berndcrisp I had to google Marty. Was not disappointed. Not exactly what I was expecting.

Grill marks don't make the meal, but they look kinda cool. Boneless, reverse sear pork chops.Felton, Ca. 2-LBGE, 1-Small, PBC, PK360, Genesis Summit, Camp Chef Flattop, Smokefire 24, Traeger Pro Series 22 Pellet with a Smoke Daddy insert, Gateway 55 Gal. drum, SNS Kettle w/acc.
