Super Sear

I decided to try the super sear method on some steaks.  I snipped the corners off a bradley rack to provide a surface on the coals.  Put them on for 2 minutes, off to baste, on for two minutes (other side), off to baste.  Did that 3 times (total cook time 8 minutes) at 600 degrees.  I got gloves after this one, but it turned out awesome!!  Pics attached.

    Wow.  That sliced pic really tells the story.  I've never seen a picture of food that made me as hungry as that one.  Strong work.
